Eaton’s EPG BLD BLine Division division is currently seeking a Mig/Tig Welder - Metering 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $20.38 - $22.70 per hour. What you’ll do:
- Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
- Weld components based on print specifications.
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
- Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.

- Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
- ID and tag shop orders with product. Retrieve/enter data into system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year MIG and TIG welding
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2-3 years MIG/TIG Welding
- Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and using simple measuring tools
- Basic computer skills
- AWS Weld Certified
- Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
- Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬
- Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas)
- Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil, sparks.
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
- Working knowledge of weld operations, including MIG, TIG of stainless steel and/or aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
- Ability to stand for eight hours plus and perform repetitious tasks
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as needed by the business
