Tig Welder Jobs

Graver Technologies is a U.S. based company serving the industrial filtration, separation and purification needs of companies around the globe. We are located in Glasgow, DE and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $8 billion in annual sales. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Tig Welder to work in our plant to support the manufacturing of our filtration products.

**2nd Shift Hours are Monday thru Friday: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM**

The Welder is for the entire sequence of cutting and welding operations for a wide variety of repair and fabrication work. Aligns and welds components of metal tools, wires, fixtures and other metal products. May utilize different types of welding systems for different tasks. Maintains a safe work area and may train apprentices in the trade.

Responsibilities:

- Understand and follow all safety procedures.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

- Weld and document production of products.

- Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications.

- Complete all required documentation that relates to the product produced.

- Document and report raw material consumption for all finished products.

- Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.

- Ensure all operations conform to our ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED.

- TIG welding certification or minimum of two years of experience working as a welder.

- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

- Ability to use various measuring instruments.

- Ability to perform basic math functions.

- Ability to work overtime (including extending the hours of the employee’s shift beyond the employee’s standard workday or working on a day the employee would otherwise not be scheduled to work).
