The Mets Academy is training the next generation of baseball industry leaders. Our program (which lasts approximately 12-18 months) is designed to provide our Academy participants with a unique experience in the field to set you up for long-term success within the sports industry, with the potential for placement with the Mets after successful program completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Train with Senior Leadership to develop core business and leadership competencies and earn diverse on-the-job experiences. Utilize the talents you bring and the ones you are developing
• Sharpening your management best practices, leadership, and strategic thinking. Understand what it really takes to run a business in baseball.
• Actively uphold Mets values by participating in our inclusive culture both inside the company and in the communities we serve
• Immerse yourself in a rich, proprietary training program, that combines classroom learning, and day to day running a line of business.
• After completion of the rotational program, members of the Academy cohort will have the opportunity to place in a highly valued role within one of the Mets divisions
• Collaborate leaders who act as coaches and mentors throughout the program
• Complete one 12–16-month rotation with the Mets: either in baseball or business operations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years’ experience in business development, finance, legal, consulting, strategy, marketing, or related fields
• Ability to relocate to the New York City metropolitan area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree preferred (MBA, JD, PhD)

• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, particularly during the baseball season, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated commitment to community involvement

Salary Range:

$89,872.65 - $119,830.20
