Job Title: Mental Health Parity Analyst
Location: Philadelphia, PA (100% Remote)
Duration: 3 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
MUST have
Worker with a college degree and background preferred
clinical background, payor experience and/or mental health parity experience
Contract role - 3 months minimum position and could be extended based on business need and performance.

Pre-screen exercise followed by 1 or 2 video interview(s)
What are the major responsibilities of the position?
Serve as the analyst for MHPAEA Non qualitative treatment limit (NQTL) projects
- Meeting/Deliverable management – Kick off, project status/meeting minutes, prepare data requests, facilitate data collection, data review, prepare gap analysis (PPT) results summary
- Communications – Manage email back with vendors and internally to support project completion
- Review vendor responses and compile NQTL findings, highlight potential gaps in compliance, map to existing processes on Med/Surg
What will the contractor actually be working on
Mental Health Parity Audits for self-funded employers.
Analysis and comparison of current NQTL Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder (MH/SUD) limits, processes, MH/SUD coverage vs. medical surgical coverage

JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW:
Manage NQTL portion of parity assessment, including:
- Monitor carrier and vendor responsiveness to questionnaires
- Complete initial review of carrier responses for parity projects
- Draft gap analysis based on documents reviewed
- Collaborate with health management senior reviewer to conduct follow up calls/emails with carriers/vendors as needed for clarification and submission of additional documents
- Support the overall completion of the NQTL component of the report
- Schedule meetings and coordinate efforts of colleagues
- Participation in weekly or bi-weekly project status calls as needed
- Maintain materials/documentation in a manner consistent with WTW work processes and peer review standards
Other requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience dealing with health and welfare plans, ideally gained in a benefit consulting/brokerage firm or insurance company
- Understanding of health plan utilization/case management processes, network management and pharmacy prior-authorization processes
- Basic understanding of Mental Health Parity NQTLs
- Well-organized and detail oriented
