We pride ourselves on the quality and helpfulness of our content. Our articles contain clinical accurate information and can easily be read by a person without a background in psychology.

The traffic to our website primarily comes from readers conducting searches on Google and clicking on links to our articles. Optimizing our articles to rank well in organic search results (SEO) is built into our editorial process.

This position is responsible for managing around 60 freelance contributors (therapists). We expect 30+ new articles per month will be published.

This is a mid-level position.The responsibilities of this position involve:

• Light Copy-Editing - Edit Articles for readability and completeness. Incorporate edits from medical reviewers.
• Shepherd Articles Through Publication Process (includes managing medical review and working with Wordpress Team)
• Recruiting New writers. (licensed therapists).
• Articles Outlines - Create highly structured outlines to provide writers which include which questions and topics should be addressed by the writer.
• SEO Research. We provide training.
• Manage Article Assignments & Deadlines - Assign articles to writers and medical reviewers based on their expertise and capacity. Follow-up on deadlines.

Requirements

• SEO Experience A Plus
• Professional Editing or Writing Experience - 3 Years+
• College Degree
• Excellent Written Communication Skills
• Passion For Mental Health
• Highly Organized

Position Details

• $45,000 - $50,000 Per Year Depending On Experience
• 100% Remote
• PTO Offered. No Insurance and no 401k.
• Monday Through Friday - Normal Business Hours
