Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and empathetic Community Manager to join ShareWell. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing a supportive online community for individuals living with mental health challenges. This is a fast-paced, exciting job for a dynamic, self-motivated collaborator who is passionate about a career in a leading mental health startup. You will be working remotely and must be able to manage a digital community independently. As the Community Manager, you will work closely with the marketing and community team to develop and execute strategies that promote engagement and growth. This position reports directly to the Head of Community and will work closely with the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute campaigns, events, and other initiatives that foster community engagement, promote mental health awareness, and drive traffic to our website.
- Contribute to community strategy development and proactive content including running the community calendar.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mental health social media trends and tools, and incorporate them into our community management strategy.
- Foster external partnerships to feed excitement, connection to our brand, and grow support network.
- Run weekly workshops and info sessions for new community members.
- Develop and manage an engaging online community that provides support, resources, and encouragement to individuals living with mental health challenges.
- Work closely with other departments, including customer support and product development, to ensure that community feedback is integrated into decision-making processes.
- Analyze engagement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
- Personal experience with mental health challenges or a strong passion for mental health advocacy and support.
- 2-3 years of experience managing or leading a community or student group.
- Passion for mental health
- Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic tone. Comfortable with public speaking and running digital workshops.
- Experience in event planning and execution is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing outreach media campaigns and initiatives.
- Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 1:1s with CEO and Executives
- 13 Holidays + 8 Mental Health Days + 12 Floating Vacation Days (All PTO)
- Fully remote
- Learning and Development stipend
- 55-60k/yr starting salary
