Summary:

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for retrieving, maintaining, updating and filing of medical records both in paper and electronic format. Is responsible for processing written requests and transferring medical record information. Also assists with other clerical responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience:

• One year of experience in a medical office
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to deal effectively in stressful situations
• High School education or equivalent required
