Medical Front Desk Receptionist Tampa, Fl

We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join our practice full time in Tampa, FL. We are seeking a receptionist who, as a member of the patient care team and the primary point of patient contact, will be responsible for positive patient relations, proper telephone communication, appointment scheduling, patient registration, as well as payment and co-payment collection. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, a great communicator and team player!

Duties:

• Collect copayments and therapy payments
• Monitor sign-in sheet to ensure that all patients are appropriately called and coordinate communication between patient and staff
• Gather all necessary information required for the registration of patients
• Front Desk Duties to include- Greet/Check patients in, answer phones, make appointments, verify appointments, and keep patients informed
• Respect the dignity, confidentiality, and privacy of patients
• Assist with patient care as needed
• Maintain an organized office
• Ensure efficient written and oral communication (phones, email)
• Demonstrate courtesy and helpfulness toward patients and their families, information given is accurate and complete

Requirements:

• Experience working in a high-volume medical practice

Salary (range):

• $20-$25 per hour plus bonus and benefits!
