Medical Assistant / X-Ray Technologist (Part-Time)

Job Summary of X-ray Technologist:

Florida Imaging is seeking a Part-time Medical Assistant/ X-ray Technologist to join our Bradenton Pain Management Team! We pride ourself on having a knowledgeable and caring TEAM to assist patients with injuries and impairments of the neuromusculoskeletal system, including the muscles, nerves, and bones, especially those of the back and neck. This position is currently 3-4 days per month but will continue to grow into additional days per month. If you are a Rockstar X-ray Technologist come join our team!

Responsibilities of X-ray Technologist:

• Responsible for enforcing field safety for patients, operators, and visitors, while complying with all safety policies and regulations.
• Maintaining a patient log, equipment service log, delivery schedule log(s) and other related statistics. Performs QA/QC in accordance with ACR guidelines.
• Complete all exams in a timely manner, maintains workflow, and minimizes table time.
• Performs C-arm imaging procedures while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Position and instruct the patients about the preparation for their tests.
• Training and understanding of medical terminology, practices, and procedures are required.

Salary Range of X-ray Technologist: $280 - $350 per shift

Education/Training/ Requirements of X-ray Technologist:

• Certified X-ray Tech from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Florida state license as a General Radiographer RT (required)

Hours of Work of X-ray Technologist: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm currently one day per week.
