We are looking for Medical Assistant – Registered to join our clinics! Our Medical Assistant Registered performs clerical and clinical duties within scope plus assist Providers as directed to improve access and promote excellence in customer service. They use Electronic Health Record (EHR) to record patient visits, ensuring confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines plus prepares exam rooms, equipment and supplies for exams and procedures, using sterile technique as appropriate. In addition, they take and document accurate vital signs per training and chief complaint to facilitate patient care and, clean, decontaminate, and restock exam rooms and equipment. In addition, they will perform “pre-visit planning” by mining the chart for preventative care, referral completion, and need for follow-up. Plus, other duties as assigned.

This position requires no previous experience or training, we provide paid on the job training. Training will include learning in a classroom setting, engaging in mock scenarios and training in clinic with experience staff. Training will cover all skills to build a foundation as an MA-R before transitioning into a clinic role.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
