Medical Assistant - Ijrr Clinic - Per Diem 8Hr - Days

Salary Range: $30.11 - $34.23 plus applicable per diem differential
Summary of Duties: Under the direction and supervision of an MD, RN, or Sr. Office Mgr assumes responsibility and accountability for assignments for a designated time frame, assisting staff in providing patient care according to established methods/policies/standards of IJJR Clinic. In addition to performing the essential function listed, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Educational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. Completion of Medical Assistant Certification Course. Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology and English.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current CPR Certification required.
Experience Requirements: Two (2) year minimum on the job experience necessary, specifically some knowledge in Orthopedic Surgery Office.
Special Skills or Abilities: Able to type a minimum of 30 WPM preferred. Demonstrated effective communication skills on the telephone and in person. 2-3 years experience with Windows-based programs. Internet skills desired.
