Telemetry Technician - Central Surveillance Unit - Per Diem 8 Hr - Variable Shifts

Salary Range: $38.53 - $44.03 plus applicable per diem differential

Summary of Duties
Responsible for performing clerical duties and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• AHA BLS certification, required.

• Six (6) months of previous telemetry experience in an acute care hospital, required.
• Computer skills sufficient to use Telemetry Monitoring System with accuracy for admitting, discharging, ordering, charging, and patient scheduling.
• Previous clerical, receptionist, physician's office experience or appropriate medical training, preferred.

• Possess computer skills sufficient enough to effectively use Telemetry Monitoring System with accuracy for admitting, discharging, ordering, charging and patient scheduling.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology, required.
• Possess the emotional stamina to work in a stressful environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, required.
