Job Summary

This Medical Assistant in a Health and Wellness Center must be interested in working in Primary Care in Fort Lauderdale. Operation Clinic Hours from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday full time.

Motivated Medical Assistant who has worked in Family Practice working with a team of Medical Providers.

We are looking for the following :

• Experience in Patient-centered care and front and back office
• Experience in a fast-paced setting where you maintain being professional and able to serve patients and children who require special attention
• Experience working with Insurance companies and checking fees for patients
• Medical Assisting with 2-3 years of experience

Responsibilities And Duties

• Motivated Professional with exceptional Customer service attitude and presentation skills
• Willing to grow and expand special talents in this field
• Presentation in promoting a Health and Wellness practice in a Pediatric Primary Care Medical Practice
• Work with Insurance verification front and back office skills
• Excellent telephone skills with scheduling appointments
• Reliable transportation committed to working 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• A Medical Assistant who has worked in this type of setting would be an asset
• Essential to work independently and work with a team of medical staff, medical assistants, front desk and Nurse Practitioners/PAs, and Medical director
• Strong experience assisting with various types of aesthetic procedures and equipment

Qualifications And Skills

• MUST have experience in Primary Care (Family Practice/Internal Medicine)
• Mature and reliable dedicated to this progressing in this area of specialty
• Certified Medical Assistant for the State of Florida
• Bi-lingual (Plus but not necessary)
