Media Specialist(100% Remote) Jobs

We are seeking a Communications Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, and San Diego, CA.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure timely, creative, and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content, and information
• Work closely with the Client's Product corporate sales team to write and finalize monthly and annual press releases
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data
• Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging
• Support the policy team goals in managing the public affairs, managing press, events, announcement.
• Preparing plans, working with cross functional team, policy and product teams on proactive launches and managing re--activate and crises communication issues

Must-Haves

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
• Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
• Experience with Media relations
• Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• 8-10 years of relevant work experience

Education

• A Bachelor's Degree is required

Hours & Location:

• M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
