Social Media Specialist Jobs

Are you a Los Angeles-based Social Media Specialist with marketing experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry? Our client is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their Social Media and Public Relations Team onsite in executing the Company’s strategic social media marketing programs and goals.
You Will:

• Moderates’ user comments on all social pages
• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment regarding social media marketing programs and goals
• Create and monitor social media posts
• Monitor community dialogue and feedback, synthesize, and make recommendations for action under the direction of social media managers
• Network with industry experts
• Implement social media and PR campaigns
• Provide Social Media Team with support in creating and maintaining social media profiles across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) including copywriting, posting, reporting and responding to fans/followers
• Act as advisory specialist to management on matters regarding strategic social media marketing programs and goals
• Assist with any additional production coordination regarding large upcoming event
• Actively participates in brainstorming sessions to find unique ways to promote social media presence
• Plan, execute, and attend Blogger/Media conferences and events
• Other duties as needed
• Analyze online data and create reports

You Have:

• Superior writing and editing skills and strong proofreading and grammar skills with a proven ability to create unique and compelling positioning and messaging
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/English/PR/Communications or similar discipline preferred
• Strong communication skills and a highly professional manner
• A passionate and driven attitude, and a demonstrated willingness to roll-up sleeves and do what it takes to drive initiatives to success
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• 2+ social media marketing experience in consumer-packaged goods industry preferred

Logistics:

• Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
• Team Structure: Working with Marketing team
• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $28-$30 per hour DOE
• Projected Start Date: ASAP
