Media Assistant
The Media Assistant provides administrative support to our media department. They track advertising projects from start to finish to ensure efficiency and accurate record-keeping.
The Media Assistant is well-organized with possesses strong research skills and an eye for detail.
- Prepare, Track, monitor, organize, and maintain several media/market performance reports and invoices
- Collaborate in the distribution of commercials and instructions to Radio and Television stations monthly
- Assist media buyers and planners develop, execute, and monitor media plans
- Place and maintain schedules for TV, Radio, Outdoor, and Print
- Resolve issues and help build strong relationships with media outlets
- Assist in researching various stations in new and existing markets, negotiating the best rates for media space, and working closely with vendors and station reps
- Maintain an organized Media Drive: folders, files, and documents
- Ability to handle multiple projects and recognize problems, collect information, establish facts, and suggest conclusions based on information
- Must be deadline-driven and be able to complete project deliverables while overcoming roadblocks
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Dexterity with spreadsheets, performance reports, and file organization
- Listen and transcribe materials as needed
