The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment and has a passion for building high-quality products using the latest manufacturing technologies. **Job Title: ** Mechanical/Electrical Assembler **Pay Rate: ** $16-$18/HR DOE **Location: ** Dallas, TX **Shift Schedule: ** Day Shift (Mon-Thurs 6: 00AM to 4: 30AM OT as Needed) **Work Environment-CLIMATE CONTROLLED** *** Interview with supervisor & must pass a drug test prior to starting** * **Skills & Requirements: ** * Review, analyze and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures and/or instructions. * Assemble metal enclosures to include all components specified to ready the panel for wiring * Align, fit and assemble components using power tools, measuring tools, and hand tools to perform all associated tasks * Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms, both paper and electronic * Anticipate supply level and order parts before they run out. * Evaluate assembled structure for damages, incorrect design and/or setup, and suggest corrections or improvements * Resolve any assembly problems by discussing issues, working with various department employees and suggesting solutions * Must use electric and hand tools, such as saws, grinder, drill press, tap & die and others as needed * Must be able to bend over metal boxes for long periods of time. * Attention to detail and pride in work are critical * Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area * Must be a team player and willing to perform tasks that may not be in any particular job description **Physical Demands: ** Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
