Mechanical Assembler - Entry

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS:

• Prepare all surfaces and components as necessary to ensure no damage occurs during assembly and testing.
• Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Attend work per work schedule.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Assist in the testing of assembled parts to ensure functionality,
• Identify and report any faulty components or hazardous conditions during the assembly process.
• Assist in installing parts according to required specifications of unit being assembled.
• Read, interpret and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine component parts and assembly sequence.
• Possess all tools required for position within 90 days of employment.
• Adhere to all Company policies.
• Assist in hose assembly routing.
• Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy & accurate manner.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS FOR POSITION

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience Using Hand tools required
• Basic Technical Knowledge
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
