Job Description
This is a remote position.


Call Center Representative is responsible for answering all incoming calls and emails, handling customer questions and complaints, performing insurance verifications, and showing new call center reps how to do the job. Candidates should have an outgoing and positive demeanor, a positive work ethic, and have a track record of working well with others in a team environment. The Call Center Representative is required to train the first 90 days at the corporate office in Houston, 118 Vintage Park Blvd., Suite W450, Houston, TX 77070.


Essential Job Functions


  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
  • Handles all incoming telephone calls from patients, makes appointments, and answers general questions and inquiries.
  • Maintains registration flow by efficiently moving patients through the process and readying them for their in-office visit using Advance MD and My Clear Visit systems. (i.e., form and payment links)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Showing new call center reps how to do the job
  • After completion of the call and input of the patient information, representative checks records verifying the details entered and adds any additional notes that may be necessary.
  • Performing insurance verification
  • Responsible for inputting very detailed information on the patient using a variety of computer screens.
  • Schedules to ensure efficient patient flow based on predetermined appointment availability.
  • Communicates all add-ons, delays, cancellations, and “no-shows” to Clinical Coordinator.
  • Uses computer systems to refer to existing patient information or set up new patients in the scheduling tool. Provides the patient with available timeslots not allowing patients to give times they are available to ensure full use of the physician timeslots.


Requirements Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)


Experience: Previous experience in a customer support role

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
