Job Description
Job Overview:
The Operations team works with internal Production, Content, and Project teams to produce test materials (e.g., test booklets and ancillaries). As part of the Operations team, the Project Operations Assistant will be responsible for conducting quality control reviews of test materials, including verification of test booklet content and layout. This will include the opportunity to learn how to manage the production and review processes required during a test materials cycle and work with external clients and vendors throughout these processes. Training in all test material reviews and version control/quality control procedures is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist project leads with maintaining and updating paper project documentation and training materials
  • Perform comparative proofing and quality checks on a variety of paper test materials
  • Assist project leads with pre-production planning, scheduling, and implementation
  • Assist project leads with paper materials flow to internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Help with comment resolutions
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in print and publishing in a business, government or education context is an asset.
  • Proofreading experience is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Bachelors degree in English, Business or related field required
  • 0 2 years of experience in project or operations management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • High level of organization and the ability to manage and prioritize several tasks/projects at the same time
  • Excellent computer knowledge, proficiency in Word and Excel preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC is a plus.
  • Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines on time.
