Marketing Manager, Teachers Pay Teachers

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a Marketing Manager for Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), the world’s largest catalog of educator-created content.
One of the most beloved educator brands, and used by 85% of K-12 teachers in the US, TPT recently joined the IXL Learning family. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading TPT’s integrated marketing strategy with the goal of driving purchases and supporting the growth and engagement of our buyer and seller communities. You will also manage a team of 2 marketers and lead them in developing creative and compelling content across multiple channels (website, email, blog, social media, and more).

This is a full time position with a hybrid work schedule in our San Mateo, CA office.
What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and mentor a small team of content marketers
• Drive the development of high-quality marketing content, from defining goals, to developing editorial calendars, to writing and editing copy, to working cross-functionally on design and execution
• Oversee the development and execution of TPT’s social media strategy
• Collaborate with and lead cross-functional projects across Marketing (with teams such as Email, SEO, PR, Video) and other departments (including Digital Marketing, Product Development, Seller Community, and more)
• Create and execute marketing plans to support new product/feature launches, including internal and external and external communications and messaging
• Own and execute the TPT marketing strategy, developing marketing messaging campaigns, and content that will attract and retain customers
• Develop programs and materials to support the onboarding, education, and engagement of our seller community

What We're Looking For

• You get things done: You’re a self-starter, detail- and deadline-oriented, organized, and resourceful. You have the ability to manage projects from start to finish and rally stakeholders around a common goal
• Written communication: You are an exceptional writer and editor who knows how to clearly communicate a message and make every word count. You can switch easily from writing a messaging about a new product feature, to crafting an impactful marketing email, to developing a lighthearted blog post
• Minimum of 1-2 years of managing, coaching, and motivating direct reports
• 7-9 years of product marketing, content marketing, and/or integrated marketing experience
• Strategic thinking: You are able to consider an idea from all angles, ask smart questions, and make thoughtful decisions that align with company needs and values
• BA/BS degree

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 to $160,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
