Jacques Pépin Foundation – Marketing & Events Associate

Associate :The Marketing & Events Associate will support marketing communications via email and social media and direct donor outreach.Associate will support fundraising and programmatic events, including star-studded gala and annual Video Recipe Book production.Most of the work will be remote and on a flexible schedule.Associate will report to the Marketing & Events Director and also work closely with the Engagement Director.

Jacques Pépin Foundation Overview:

The JPF supports community kitchens that offer free life skills and culinary training to adults with high barriers to employment, including previous incarceration, homelessness, substance abuse issues, low skill and education attainment and lack of work history.We translate Jacques’ love of culinary arts and education by supporting individuals that seek, and organizations that create pathways to success through culinary professionalism, skills, and technique.

Responsibilities:

Marketing

- Create and manage email marketing and content calendar

- Analyze organizational data

- Social Media support

Events & Projects

­- Support annual Gala fundraiser (oversee registration and donor relations; coordinate hotel block; volunteer management, etc.)

-CoordinateCook with Jacques Pépin & FriendsVideo Recipe Book (project management for content collection; proofreading recipes and chef bios; collaborate with video production team)

Qualifications:

• Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
• Bachelor’s Degree (work experience beneficial)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Must be skilled with learning new software and comfortable with digital platforms
• Strong work ethic and dedication to work product

Part-time position with opportunity to grow into a full-time position.Hours are flexible (estimated 15-20 hours/week) and salary range of $1,500-$2,000/month. Benefits not included.
