Marketing Event Coordinator (Grass Roots)

The Marketing Event Coordinator will be responsible for implementing grass roots marketing activities, such as planning community events to help drive sales penetration rates in new residential markets. Grass Roots marketing activities include: distributing marketing information to homes, handing out ImOn branded promotional items in neighborhoods, representing ImOn at community events, and helping to plan and hold ImOn-hosted neighborhood events in all ImOn-served markets.
Essential Job Responsibilities For Primary Functional Area Of Accountability

• Implement grass roots marketing activities such as distributing marketing information to homes, handing out ImOn branded promotional items in neighborhoods, representing ImOn at community events, and helping to plan and hold ImOn-hosted neighborhood events in all ImOn-served markets.
• Coordinate the ordering, budget and inventory for ImOn branded promotional items.
• Assist Marketing Manager and the team with other activities as required.
• Manage the use of temporary part-time staff to help with grass roots efforts.

Requirements
Required Experience, Training, and Special Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours (including some weekends) to accomplish goals
• High school diploma or equivalent required, 2- or 4-year degree a plus
• 5+ years experience working in a public-facing position
