Job Description
Hillenbrand is looking for a Marketing Director to join our team. As a Marketing Director you will be responsible for overseeing marketing and brand strategy for Hillenbrand and providing support and direction with Hillenbrand Operating Companies as necessary. Role will focus on helping to coordinate the global group to enable success for large trade show events, promote cross collaboration, and project manage to a conclusion to execute key programs. Role will manage external partners, support branding strategy, manage branding aspects across various channels and materials, employee value proposition, and KPIs to standardize campaigns to have a better understanding of performance.

What you’ll do:


  • Coordinate digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and social media etc. to align key elements of overall strategy across Operating Companies.
  • Lead team on brand strategy from ideation to launch. Develop cohesive brand identity and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and expertise to drive long term strategy and vision for company marketing, integrated strategy (where applicable) and brand.
  • Develop multi-channel programs, including setting and executing strategy, developing forecasts, evaluating appropriate budget levels, and measuring results.
  • Lead annual/monthly planning and strategy meetings to foster collaboration across multiple business units and keep projects on track. Develop data sets on ROI of marketing efforts and make recommendations according to findings.
  • Other tasks or duties as assigned.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insight.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, e-mail, content marketing, and video.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, brand consistency, that supports customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end client experience across multiple channels and client touch points.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Work in a highly matrixed environment in helping define individual company marketing goals in collaboration with the Operating Companies.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize marketing processes and workflows to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Generate new strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
  • Ensure all aspects of business are on brand, consistent, focused on customer outcomes, and employ best marketing practices.
  • Monitor and report on key marketing metrics, providing regular performance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support and review the creation of content across all mediums, with hands on creative involvement.
  • Lead the execution of marketing projects from start to finish, leveraging internal support, customer communication, and driving collaboration across business units.


Basic Requirements:


  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technology
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Ads, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, and email marketing
  • 7-10 years’ experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven record of delivering highly engaging marketing experiences across channels and to diverse audience segments
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across multiple channels


Travel:


  • Employee must travel up to 10-15%
