Job Description
Marketing Automation
The Marketing Automation team is responsible for driving the overall development, design, build, execution, and measurement of campaigns and experiences in marketing automation platforms and tools. The Center of Excellence for Marketing Automation delivers on our objectives, bringing to life client journeys across channels, build experiences that drive engagement and lead conversion with B2B and B2C, Brand, and Nuveen audiences. Marketing Automation professionals are responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT. Marketing Automation is inclusive of Campaign Delivery Optimization, Campaign Data Automation, and Channel Strategy and Optimization. Campaign Data Automation to lead and develop our marketing automation delivery and will have a deep understanding of data management and marketing automation tools and technologies. Strategy and Optimization to lead and develop our marketing automation strategy. Campaign Delivery is responsible for leading and developing our marketing automation delivery and partners with our various audience leads from Client Marketing. Across of the pillars, each will have a deep understanding of marketing automation tools and technologies and how to leverage them to achieve TIAA business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversees effective and frequent communication of key marketing programs to the sales and account management teams.
  • Strategically translate business goals and objectives into executable experiences on marketing automation platforms to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Develops strategies for promotional campaigns based on insights gained through research and analysis.
  • Develop data strategy working closely with senior business and technology leaders
  • Implements recommendations regarding modifications to improve products and services and/or marketing approaches, based on the analysis of business results of recently introduced or enhanced products and services.
  • Oversees all details of customer relationship management and cloud marketing programs such as content development and basic event logistics; coordinates and utilizes internal or external resources as budget and time allows.
  • Ensures promotional campaigns and marketing plans are developed and implemented in a manner that effectively delivers the organization's message, coordinating activities of specialists in production, sales, advertising, promotion, and related areas as needed.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of relationships with related outside entities to maintain good public relations with business partners.
  • Implements recommendations regarding modifications to improve products and services and/or marketing approaches, based on the analysis of business results of recently introduced or enhanced products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing automation, lead generation, and lead nurturing.

  • Develop SF Automation Studio automation workflows based on business and technology requirements.
  • Manage and lead a team of marketing automation professionals to execute marketing campaigns, improve processes to increase speed to market, and advance current marketing capabilities.
  • Implement omni channel customer experience leveraging SFMC platform components and tools.
  • Develop reusable marketing content leveraging SFMC content builder aligning with content automation strategies
  • Design and implement automated marketing campaigns to increase lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention.
  • Develop Data Cloud - SFMC data integration leveraging product capabilities and tools
  • Develop and execute customer journeys leveraging SFMC journey and content builder to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Lead development of SF Marketing Cloud Personalization components enabling engaging customer experience

Required Qualifications:
5 or more years of experience in marketing automation, demand generation, and system operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and IT teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and insights that inform campaign optimization and strategy.
  • Hand on experience with marketing automation platforms and tools, SFMC preferred.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms to build workflows, create email marketing campaigns, and deepen customer engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree in computation engineering, science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Base Pay Range: $169,600/yr. - $215,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
