Marketing Data Scientist Jobs

Our large telecommunications client is looking for a marketing data scientist who will specialize in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify patterns and trends within the marketing department. They are looking for a candidate who has experience in Python, R, SQL, and Tableau or Power BI.

This position will have a hybrid schedule based in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process large data sets from various internal and external sources
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders using data visualization and storytelling techniques
• Create and maintain data pipelines and data infrastructure
• Analyze online marketing trends, collect, and analyze industry data, optimize, and report campaign performance
• Report on the marketing department's defined key performance indicators
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection, distribution, and analysis processes
• Develop insights that drive marketing decisions and improve lead quality
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze data and extract insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies and make informed decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in an analytics-focused role with experience including digital marketing analysis, customer life-cycle, path-to-purchase, multi-touch attribution, dashboard development, and predictive analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Math, Statistics, Economics, IT, or a related field required

• Use and knowledge of Marketo, Twilio, SendGrid, PowerBI, SmartSheets, Google 4 Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms
• Familiar with various data and survey collection methods used in marketing external surveys such as (Suzy, InMoment,)
