What You Will Do
- Assemble and secure structural supports according to specifications.
- Use of tools to adjust and fasten steel beams.
- Able to manually handle and securely apply rigging equipment.
- Able to effectively communicate with the rigging team (other riggers and crane operator).
- Attach and detach loads effectively.
- Practical knowledge of structural steel assembly and installation.
- Must be familiar with the standard crane hand signals. Must be able to assess weights of loads and equipment needed to lift safely.
- Lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials using mechanical equipment.
- Attaching loads using chains, slings, cables, hooks, and other related equipment.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Attaching loads using chains, slings, cables, hooks, and other related equipment
- Able to effectively communicate with the rigging team (other riggers and crane operator)
- Must be familiar with the standard crane hand signals. Must be able to assess weights of loads and equipment needed to lift safely

What Will Put You Ahead
- Communicate in English
- Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment
- NCCER Ironworker certification
- 3+ years previous experience as an ironworker
