Your role at Clorox:

Working in a participative, team-based environment across the U.S. Cleaning manufacturing facilities, the Manufacturing Quality Process Specialist provides leadership and technical expertise to maintain and improve quality documentation and process while ensuring proper standardization and synchronization of work across the business.


In this role, you will:

  • Leveraging result of most recent quality assessment, prioritize work and close gaps across the network
  • Proactively look for areas of improvement in both process and personnel capabilities. Create process to close gaps
  • Develop, document and train on Quality related SOPs
  • Drive strong collaboration with plant based quality resources (where available)
  • Collaborates with the Business Quality Manager to determine prioritization of work and inputs to the overall quality strategy
  • Reviews documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance to standards are obtained, where required.


What we look for:

  • Motivation & commitment to lead and direct others to exceptional results
  • 6+ years of technical experience with a proven track record indicating an ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
  • Ability to represent ideas effectively and report information clearly in written and verbal communication (e.g. one on one, group discussions).
  • 5+ years of Quality specific experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience considered a benefit
  • Highly Flexible and Adaptable - able to work independently in a fast paced multitasking environment. Ability to recognize the need for change and to initiate the change.
  • Ability to effectively author standard operating procedures
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively lead and influence across a broad network
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills that integrate technical and business factors
  • Position will require the candidate to be in a manufacturing environment with rotating equipment, elevated surfaces, temperature variations, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral/written communication and people skills

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
