"Position's Purpose:
Responsible for managing manufacturing teams and coordinating day-to-day production activities to assure the safe manufacturing of products, meeting work order due dates, on time delivery, and high product quality.
Key Functions

• Mentor and help develop production workers.
• Gather and review data related to quality issues; provide and implement resolution to Quality concerns
• Provide Quality support and decision making (24/7) to production operators regarding all facets of the manufacturing process.
• Ensure Quality Standards set-forth by Quality Assurance are maintained by production operators.
• Coordinate execution of production schedules for areas.
• Audit and maintain safety policies and procedure"
• Participate in new hire interviews and hiring recommendations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Display leadership, problem-solving skills, and flexibility.
• Communicate and coordinate production scheduling with the production team.
• Communicate to production operators; Quality standards set-forth by Quality Assurance (i.e. Special Condition Memos, process changes).
• Promote and encourage self-managed team environment.
• Maintain written documentation on performance for each assigned production operator
• Facilitate team meetings and tool box meetings.
• Work with Customer Service, and Planning, in coordinating the manufacturing of sales orders.
• Manage employee and team performance:
• Aid in product acceptable based on Quality standards, product and process knowledge.
• Work with employee to develop and agree to annual Goals and Objectives
• Establish effective communication lines/methods; identify and solve employee problems; manage conflict
• Review quarterly employees progress toward meeting annual Goals and Objectives provide relevant feedback and improvement opportunities.
