About the Role: Seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our rapidly expanding company. If you're eager to contribute to an exciting work environment, review the qualifications below. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing program manufacturing plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, presenting at major program reviews, and overseeing operations standard procedures. As a Subject Matter Expert, you'll guide operations matters and provide leadership in daily production activities. Additionally, you'll ensure administrative tasks are managed effectively, from performance plans to employee reviews, all while driving excellence in manufacturing operations aligned with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Plant Operations:
- Manage program manufacturing plans, schedules, and material requirements.
- Contribute to product evolution and configuration planning.
- Coordinate program requisites and interface with functional groups.
- Serve as SME for operations.
- Present operations topics at key program reviews and support standard procedures and tools.
- Lead manufacturing operations, ensuring engagement, efficiency, and quality alignment with objectives.
- Direct daily filling production activities.
- Manage administrative aspects, including performance plans and reviews.
Administration:
- Assist in new product launches, production improvements, and product testing.
- Collaborate with peer Plant and Division personnel for continuous improvement in Operations.
- Lead monthly safety meetings and participate in resolving safety matters.
- Anticipate, generate, convey, and communicate actionable business and operational insights.
- Provide prompt performance reporting and analysis to Loop Manufacturing VP/GM leadership.
- Develop strategic plans aligned with overall Plant and Division strategies.
- Recruit, train, develop, reward, and recognize staff to achieve targeted strategies and goals.
- Contribute to evaluating, monitoring, and ensuring effective internal controls and disclosure controls.
Technical Implementation:
- Collaborate with production teams to identify automation opportunities, integrate machinery with software systems, and enhance production processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Aid in evaluating the plant's technology needs, planning upgrades or enhancements, and partnering with management to implement cost-effective technology solutions.
- Supervise the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems within the manufacturing plant. This involves inventory management, hardware troubleshooting, system upgrades, and ensuring software functionality and updates.
- Assist in selecting external technology vendors or consultants for system implementation or maintenance. This encompasses vendor selection, contract negotiations, and maintaining relationships with third-party providers.
- Manage and oversee the plant's technological infrastructure and systems.
Requirements:
- Willingness to walk extra miles to setup the tools, process, metrics to monitor operational efficiency.
- Experience in Smart Manufacturing; Industrial IOT Experience; Measurement Automation; Solution Security
- Must be able to communicate with diverse teams, collaborate with different departments, and convey information clearly to ensure smooth operations and efficient coordination.
- Combined 20+ years’ experience in an Operations Manager or similar role:
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure are crucial.
Preferred Skills:
- 10+ years in Building Lean Processes for Highly Scalable Systems (Software / Hardware /Services)
- 5+ engineering leadership and management experience
- 10+ years in Base Board Support Packages Deployment (Golden Image Management)
Total Compensation Package (FTE):
