Manufacturing Engineer, Stanley Access Technologies - Farmington, CT

Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented leaders that focus on execution, meet commitments, break through turf issues and have a passion to exceed customer expectations.
What You Will Do:
  • Investigate, gather and analyze data and implement solutions
  • Improve material flow and material presentation
  • Continuous improvements in cost, quality, safety and ergonomics
  • Provide costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for current/new products
  • Machining of components.
  • Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
  • Establish routings, methods, processes, and layouts for assembly line.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for current production
What You Need to Succeed:
  • 2+ years in a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a production environment working with cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude,
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technical Discipline
  • Experience with Lathes, Mills, punch presses, CNC operation/programming.Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and Lean Sigma Methodology. LSSGB, LSSBB, LSSYB, LSSWB, etc.
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
