Reports to:Director of Engineering,

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on in the manufacturing setting to facilitate projects until completion.
• Interact and cooperate with clients and project managers to interpret their needs and requirements to represent them by providing technical support and assistance.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, assign, and monitor assigned engineering projects, delegated responsibilities, and project team.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
• At times be able to take direction and also self-sufficient.
• 3-5 Years of experience in related fields.
• Traveling out of state to other Ya YA Foods plants.
• Proficient with organization, time management, MS Office, and ability to communicate in English

Physical Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours)
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
