LG’s Innovation Center in Santa Clara is looking for a Manufacturing Consultant who will bring their deep-rooted manufacturing expertise and knowledge in the areas such as:
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Organization (manufacturing Enterprise And Machine Manufacturers)

• General hierarchy in manufacturing
• OSHA regulations
• IT: external cloud service vs. own deployed cloud

Factory Workers Landscape

• Number of workers needed and salaries in assembly vs production
• Most important ROI to measure

Technology Developments & Trends

• Experience purchasing solutions from tech providers
• Is there a standard software (e.g. LMS, Asset management)

Sales Operations for Factory Employees

• Knowledge of the Sales Cycle, Decision Makers, Sales Objections, Distribution Channels, etc.

Marketing/Events/Trade Shows

• Knowledge and network experience to make recommendations such as, where to meet potential customers, e.g. most important trade conferences, etc.

What You’ll Bring

• Deep rooted manufacturing experience and understanding of enterprise functions
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing including senior leadership level decision making, factory operations, etc.

Location: Remote
Please note: this is a part-time, contract position with LG. The expectation is around 3-5 hours a week, depending on the needs of the business.
