Manufacturers Sales Representative (Outside Sales Partner)

Dirt Killer Pressure Washers, a division of Hamilton Associates, is the US importer for Kränzle, a high-quality pressure washer manufacturer located in Germany. In addition, we use other components of the Kränzle line to manufacture our own brand of pressure washers under the Dirt Killer line. Kränzle and Dirt Killer pressure washers have a reputation for being the best in the business!


Not only do we sell our pressure washers through a national dealer network that includes pressure washer specialist stores, industrial and agricultural suppliers, and ecommerce sites, but we also operate a local retail store, Atlantic Pressure Washers Superstore. At this retail store, located in Baltimore, MD, we sell these commercial-grade pressure washers, as well as accessories, parts and cleaning chemicals to professional cleaners, businesses and government organizations. In our store, we also repair all makes and models of pressure washers. Our expert staff specializes in helping local cleaning professionals solve their toughest cleaning problems by providing the right equipment, chemicals and how-to-clean knowledge.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manufactures Sales Representative (Outside Sales Partner) for Dirt Killer Products will sell and provide guidance about products needed by niche consumers such as Corporate Buyers, Property Management Companies, Facilities Managers, sanitation departments, etc.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in specified industries.

• Identifies and communicates with new clients through a variety of methods.

• Develops and implements strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry.

• Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.

• Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.

• Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.

• Negotiates prices, terms, service agreements, etc. And prepares contracts and submits orders.

• Collaborates with internal contacts such as inside sales and shipping department to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are delivered properly.

• Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.

• Performs other sales duties as necessary.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Background and Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience selling manufactured products in a remote environment

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

• Thorough understanding of the catalog of Dirt Killer products to be sold.

• Organized with attention to detail.

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Additional Background and Skills Required:

· Bachelors degree in Business, Biology, Marketing Engineering or related field.

· MBA is preferred.

· Experience selling small engine or motorized equipment.

· Possesses an existing network of corporate buyers that may have an interest in Kranzle product.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

· Walking

· Lifting to 65 lbs. without assistance

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Travel to meet with clients or potential clients may be required on occasion.

· Speaking

· Hearing

· Visual Acuity


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is a 1099 role. Kranzle products must be sold to end users for no less than MAP pricing. Kranzle will provide “program” pricing to the MSR for corporate buyers looking to use Kranzle products, not resell Kranzle products. Kranzle also provides “dealer” pricing for product sold to dealers that will resell Kranzle product. Commissions range from $89.00 per unit to $721.00 per unit, depending on the type of sale and the type of product. Details provided post NDA.
