Job Description

Are you a leader looking for an opportunity to drive a team of sales professionals in a professional consulting organization? Bet-David Consulting seeks an experienced Managing Director to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor a team of sales managers, sales associates, and a product development team. The Managing Director will build new client relationships, develop new client engagements, and contribute to the knowledge development and engagement practices of the firm. We are looking for an individual with a sharp business acumen and experience in general business consulting and associated corporate roles. The ideal candidate must have a successful sales track record, be an effective leader in a professional consulting organization, and possess problem-solving skills. Additionally, the candidate will have sourced and managed B2B engagements, managed teams and demonstrated organizational leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and guidance to the sales team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Nurture, coach, and mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of team members’ skills.
  • Manage KPIs and provide development and training initiatives for team and individual growth to keep pace with technology, market changes, and client needs.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring that customer service and sales goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with top clients and prospects.
  • Monitor the progress of the sales team and provide feedback to ensure that sales goals are met.
  • Lead and manage a growing team of consultants with direct and indirect reports split into pods managed by sales leaders.
  • Develop and manage effective strategies for marketing, customer service, and operational management.
  • Empower and engage team members to make a meaningful contribution and encourage sustainable pace and high-quality work.
  • Mentor and teach staff on new techniques and develop new business.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales leaders and sales associates to ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team and across the company, while maintaining a competitive culture.
  • Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback and data to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives to drive sales growth.


Requirements:

  • Proven ability to coach, motivate and boost confidence and necessary skills of junior and senior consultants.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a professional consulting organization.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Proven ability to build working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 5+ years of direct sales and/or sales leadership experience in B2B consulting.
  • Independent and self-managed
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor for both internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Ethical, without reproach
