Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Creative Director to join our fast-growing travel technology

company. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading our creative team of Graphic

Artists, UX/UI designers and Web Designers while overseeing the development and execution of

innovative and engaging design concepts, patterns and strategies across various digital platforms. You

will play a crucial role in shaping and enforcing our brand identity and ensuring a seamless and visually

appealing user experience for our travel technology products. You will also oversee that our partner’s

brand identities are also enforced and implemented compliantly across our various white label websites.


Creative Strategy:


Develop and implement a comprehensive creative vision and strategy that aligns with the

company's brand objectives and target audience.


Provide direction and protocols for how designs go from stakeholders to the creative team and

ultimately to production.


Collaborate with the marketing team to understand business goals and translate them into

creative concepts and campaigns.


Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design technologies, and incorporate them into

our creative approach.

Team Leadership:


Lead, mentor and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, marketers, creative engineers and

other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members, helping them grow professionally

and achieve their full potential.


Manage external creative resources, such as freelancers or agencies, when necessary.

Branding and Visual Identity:


Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's visual brand identity, ensuring

consistency and compliance across all channels and touchpoints.


Ensure the compliance of our partner’s brand on all public facing platforms


Collaborate with stakeholders to define brand guidelines, including logo usage, color palette,

typography, and visual elements.


Ensure that all design assets, including marketing materials, websites, and mobile applications,

reflect the brand's values and resonate with our target audience.


Design and User Experience:


Lead the creation of visually compelling designs and user experiences for our travel technology

products, including websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.


Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that design concepts align with user

needs and enhance the overall usability of our products.


Conduct regular usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and data-driven

insights.


Project Management:


Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work

within budget and scope.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to align

creative initiatives with overall business objectives.


Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, balancing the workload of the creative team and

allocating resources appropriately.


Ensure that all white label and mobile app UIs comply with guidelines and policies provided by

channel and search partners.


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in design, visual arts, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.


Proven experience (8+ years) as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role,

preferably in the technology or travel related industry.


Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects, including digital design, branding,

and user experience.


Proficiency with marketing concepts, digital marketing practices across appropriate social media

platforms


Proficient in design software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.


Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex

concepts into visually appealing and intuitive designs.


Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a

creative team.


Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and

strategies to stakeholders at all levels.


Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.


Passion for travel and a solid understanding of the travel industry trends and customer

expectations.
