Are you looking for an opportunity to lead and deliver optimal market access strategies across the portfolio and capitalize on business opportunities state and private stakeholders to? If so, this is the role for you.
As External Communications Manager you will be responsible for delivering optimal market access strategies for the portfolio and ensure timely negotiations with stakeholders. You will also support the local operating company’s growth plans through effective external relations utilizing persistent exploration and development of business opportunities, effective market access, and pricing and reimbursement strategies.

  • Engage people in the decision-making process, conduct clear and fair communication, build understanding and support for changes, set a personal example of attitude, skills and knowledge to keep motivation and engagement of people.
  • Deliver global and European brand priorities and provide feedback with insights on in-market effectiveness.
  • Represent the company at chambers and business associations and assure company priorities are respected.
  • Position the company as trusted and preferred partners among all relevant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for external communication with relevant institutions and stakeholders
  • Monitor the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and evaluate the quality of performance, to ensure early detection of potential issues and undertake immediate corrective measures.
  • Connect with customers on an ongoing basis to gain direct customer insight to develop commercial opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and monitor the delivery and execution of the market access strategy.
  • Expand network of partners and allies to assure company is timely, accurately informed, and involved in activities relevant for the business.
  • Support market access strategies to develop payer solutions, patient advocacy network, and development of public policies.
  • Provide clear focus and high impact activities for the sales teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with the cross-functional local operating company teams to drive continuous improvement and corrective action.
  • Participate in development of public, corporate, and media relations to assure company visibility and reputation.
  • Explore opportunities to support business development and cooperation with relevant institutions.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage relations with key decision makers to ensure optimal access for GSK brands.
  • Comply with local legislation and corporate compliance standards in advertising and promotions.
  • Develop, expand, and maintain the corporate lobbying platform to assure protection of company interests.
  • Manage and supervise the internal pricing process and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide direct business support through engagement with state and private stakeholders to detect, explore and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Analyze the competitive activities and environment systematically to facilitate the company’s targeted competition and provide feedback to Competitor Intelligence data to cluster functions to enhance competitiveness.
  • Lead and coordinate reimbursement processes and procedures, develop value propositions, and reimbursement strategies for inclusion of new products in reimbursement lists.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Communications experience in Pharmaceuticals, Health Systems or Agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in large scale national and regional project management, health systems/institutions management, health policy, health reforms, international development, international institutions policies, or health education
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track-record in delivering operational excellence in customer communication
  • * This position is designed to be office based, however if you are remote you must be willing to travel to one of our offices at a minimum of 8 days per month.
  • People management and coaching skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies and campaigns
  • Ability to influence others
  • Basic ADP knowledge
  • Excellent in execution
  • Master’s degree
