The Manager – Operational Excellence is responsible for the strategic vision, design, development and implementation of customer and operational centric processes, programs, tools and technology in support of Airport Coordination Center (ACC) and the various subgroups within the organization.


  • Interfaces with Delta Technology, Corporate Real Estate, Network and other departments within the enterprise; provides motivational and corrective feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Ensures airport technology strategy aligns with the larger enterprise solutions to achieve objectives and revenue goals then executes the plan for implementation
  • Engages team in identifying process improvement opportunities by inclusion and innovative thinking
  • Implements strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and wellbeing
  • Actively guides and support direct reports as they implement innovative self-service focused, service delivery technology and tools
  • Seeks out innovative ways to improve station performance, efficiency and productivity while focusing on technology solutions specific to the ATL ACC organization
  • Continuously looking for ways to adjust procedures and processes to meet the network flight schedule demands; focused on dynamic gating and gate optimization goals; overseeing various ACC driven initiatives- this will include leading analytical studies, establishing data analysis and reporting tools, identifying causal factors impacting performance, and seeking improvement opportunities

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
