Job Description

OFF 5TH Rewards launched in 2022 and is a key driver of sales and customer engagement for Saks OFF 5TH. Only a year old, the program has grown to ~2 million members, delivering approximately half of all sales on an omnichannel basis, and remains a key company initiative.


As Manager, Loyalty & Gift Card Marketing, you will support the development of OFF 5TH Rewards (Saks OFF 5TH’s loyalty program), executing program strategy and campaigns to cultivate customer loyalty and increase purchase frequency and retention. Reporting to the Director of Loyalty, you will design and execute strategies focused on attracting, engaging, and retaining members.

Additional responsibilities include market research and monitoring the results of ongoing loyalty promotions, drawing actionable insights from performance reports, and implementing best practices in future marketing initiatives to continue driving long-term customer growth.

You will also assist with the Saks OFF 5TH gift card program by creating and managing our gift card offering. You will work with our internal and external partners to ensure we have a well-developed product and marketing plan to support the sale of our Gift Cards within our stores, online, and through third-party distribution partners.


Who Are You (required):


  • You have experience with testing within owned marketing channels as well as driving insights and learnings from data
  • You approach projects with a can-do attitude and create or improve processes when necessary
  • You excel in cross-functional collaboration to meet business needs
  • You have a bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Business, Engineering, and/or Marketing focus preferred) or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • You have experience developing strategies and processes in a customer-centric way
  • You are results-oriented and analytically curious, with expertise in customer segmentation
  • You can handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • You have experience managing a budget
  • You have 4+ years of experience in marketing/advertising, ideally CRM, loyalty, and retail with digital experience


As The Manager, Loyalty & Gift Card Marketing, you will:


  • Own creative briefs for all loyalty-related marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Creative and Content teams on creative development processes, including working with the creative team to create compelling visuals, copy, and content
  • Manage and execute key activations to drive loyalty acquisition and retention by developing loyalty initiatives and creative assets to achieve loyalty and business goals
  • Oversee the execution of all loyalty marketing plans by managing the loyalty marketing calendar – aligning with Business, Finance, CRM, Creative, and Digital Strategy teams
  • Manage the creation and production of gift cards by working with internal and external partners to ensure timelines are met
  • Identify critical opportunities and propose new ways to drive key metrics to improve engagement and KPIs further
  • Report and analyze promotion results, measuring loyalty KPIs and communicating the impact and efficacy of each promotion, as well as providing strategic recommendations for future initiatives in partnership with the Director of Loyalty


The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $100,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
