POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the Project Lead in Training will be responsible for assisting the Project Supervisor while learning the roles and responsibilities of a Project Supervisor. This position will interact with Project Specialists and the Project Lead on a regular basis. The Project Lead in Training will also interact with clients along with the Project Supervisor. As part of their training and development they will meet with the Vice President Field Solutions on a regular basis. The ideal candidate for this role must be innovative, resourceful, and possess strong organization and communication skills.

Successful candidates can expect to be running their own projects within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early to prep store (i.e., pull / lay out schematics, identify issues, verify equipment, and be prepared to start specialists at scheduled time) Work side-by-side with the project specialists ensuring on time, accurate and efficient execution of project
• Project Lead in Training will assist in directing up to 40 project specialists to support national retailers and travel industry partners with remodeling or floor set projects across the country
• Support, train and oversee development of new and existing specialist
• Assist in the completion of all projects assigned
• This role requires adaptability, logical problem-solving abilities, people skills in combination with the ability to manage process effectively, and travel up to 100% of the time
• Monitoring attendance/report no-shows accurately
• Time at home is remote work time which will require engagement in virtual meetings, recruiting, planning, prep and business support functions

Qualifications

• Ability to record, understand and explain the mapping processes and read schematics.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
• Stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, climb stairs/ladders and lift above shoulder level consistently
• Minimum 2 years leading teams of 10 or more
• Related experience in construction, remodels, merchandising, and/or retail
• Ability to handle light power tools, (drills), and manual tools, (hammer, screw drivers etc.)
