As a Manager II, Advanced Analytics – Marketplace Strategy and Analytics you’ll solve unique and challenging problems utilizing a wide variety of data to drive decisions across the entire Marketplace fulfillment business. You’ll collaborate and influence leaders across the Marketplace business while working alongside an engaged and forward-thinking team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Fulfillment Services Analytics you’ll do hands on coding to perform deep dive analyses, develop insightful reports and dashboards to provide key insights into the business and lead your business partners in planning and executing initiatives based on your analysis. This role is a great opportunity to show case your advanced analytics skills to tell an authentic, compelling story and differentiate us as one of the top places to work.


You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • Experience in end-to-end analytical development i.e., from consulting with the business, translating their needs into an analytical problem, performing the analysis and storytelling the results to your stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL and cloud technologies like Google BigQuery, Databricks, Presto etc.,
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience collaborating with partner teams to generate results that define organizational goals and KPIs.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in analytics utilizing SQL, data preparation tools and data visualization tools


You’ll make an impact by:

  • Perform deep dive analysis to influence metrics such as GMV, sellers, traffic, volume, and SKU performance to drive fulfillment strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with other Walmart teams, such as supply chain, transportation, engineering, and product.
  • Operationalizing the finalized insights and deploying into production environments; monitoring performance and making continuous improvements to maintain metric health.
  • Consult across diverse teams such as seller acquisition and performance, account management, business operations, and product to analyze their business needs and translate them to an analytical problem.
  • Data preparation, wrangling and cleansing using tools such as R/Python, Alteryx, KNIME, Tableau Prep or similar tools.
