Manager, FP&A (Hybrid: 3 days in office)

A highly successful consumer goods company, located North of Kittery, Maine, is actively searching for a Manager of FP&A to join their team! Reporting to the CFO, this person will be responsible for driving management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information and financial data and recommending actions to senior leadership. They are offering 130K-150K base, depending on experience, plus bonus potential. If you’re interested, please keep reading.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales and other financial performance across channels, customers, brands, products and strategies, with outputs including but not limited to: price-volume analysis, gross margin analysis, fully allocated profitability / P&L
• Lead the company’s budget and forecast process using a collaborative process and securing cross-functional alignment to targets
• Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly financial reporting package. Recommend and implement improvements to the reporting structure to drive improved decision-making process internally
• Compare and analyze variances of actual results to plans and forecasts; identify trends; report findings to management; recommend actions
• Assume primary responsibility for creation, reporting and monitoring of company-wide analytics (business intelligence) used across functions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 5 - 7+ years of experience in related field
• Motivated, curious and ambitious individual who will have a direct line of communication to the CFO, financial sponsors and other key stakeholders of the business
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Point. Database / BI tools preferred but not required
• Ability to lead projects and processes across the organization with a supporting team
• Knowledge of accounting systems and controls and financials and GAAP reporting
