Confidential Director Of Financial Planning And Analysis

LHH is seeking a Confidential Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for a growing global SaaS company in Chicago, IL. This individual will report to the CFO and be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis process for the organization.

The ideal candidate will require effective leadership skills and the ability to analyze, interpret and assist in understanding & communicating the financial impact of strategic and tactical decisions for the business. Additionally, the hiring team is looking for strong progressive experience with prior in a SaaS company setting as well as individuals who started out their professional career in investment banking and pivot into a more FP&A-focused role. Great grooming opportunity for someone with the goal to be promoted to CFO in 3-5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ad-hoc analysis when requested to support effective decision-making and large company initiatives.
• Lead and manage the global annual planning and forecasting processes including preparing analysis and presentations for executives and BoD.
• Provide recommendations to leadership in the areas of financial strategy, reporting, and technology trends.
• Create and manage operational and financial KPIs
• Lead and develop a strong team of a financial analysts to support the company's short and long-term development
• Provide monthly financial results and communicate key variances and trends to finance leadership

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience covering broad range of accounting/financial analysis.
• SaaS industry expereince is required
• Prior experience in Investment Banking is highly desired
• Exceptional communication skills are required
• Advance excel skills are required
• Proven track record/success in developing a strong team
• Expert in financal analysis and financial modeling required
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA or Master's is highly preferred

Compensation/Perks:

• Strong benefits package (company covers 90% of the cost)
• The anticipated pay range for this position is between 175K-200K+20% Bonus+ Equity
