Job Description
Overview:
Now Hiring a Manager Community Health!

The Manager of Operations will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating regional community health initiatives across the state focused on advancing health equity for priority populations with or at risk for Diabetes. This role will be responsible for strategy development, partnerships with community-based organization and connecting clinical care and social care systems. The is a remote position and will require travel across the state.

Location: Remote but will require travel across the state of New Mexico.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Business, Management, Administration, Public Health or closely related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, team-building, and interpersonal skills are also required.
  • Bachelor Degree required and five to eight years of business/ administration/operations experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities including the capacity to produce results in a complex, matrix setting.

Education:

Essential: *Bachelor Degree
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare federal program reports
  • Manages implementation of Community Action Plans
  • Gather data, analyzes metrics, and coordinate the documentation, measurement and reporting internally and externally of initiatives
  • Evaluation support and ongoing refinement of initiatives
  • Guide staff and program contractors to ensure federal regulations are understood and adhered to in contracting and reporting grant activities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Partner with grants management, compliance, and contracting to ensure federal regulations are adhered to in contracting and reporting grant activities
  • Contribute to reports to community partners and Presbyterian leadership
  • Manage relationships with internal and external Government entities and community organizations stakeholders to engage and influence
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial and operational results are achieved for awards
  • Actively participates on relevant community councils and/or Boards
  • Manage and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Facilitates the development of internal processes to support Community Health business and program needs
  • Identify, manage, and onboard strategic initiatives
