Scope of position includes: Outdoor Lighting and Unmetered Services
Sales and Process Support, $80m in Distribution Margin Revenue and a Scorecard Metric, Unmetered Support & Controls, Audit, Customer Complaint resolution, including Contract Labor. Role must be liaison between business, the Electric Divisions, Asset Management, and IT with a strong customer focus. **Job Responsibilities** This position is responsible to lead and manage a diverse group of professionals and activities for customer service, support and sales activities of PSE&G's municipalities. Responsible for the direction, training, coaching and mentoring of associates involved with Outdoor Lighting, other unmetered services, and the municipal customer advisory team. Outdoor Lighting/Unmetered Services and Sales accountabilities include entire sales process, revenue generation and order fulfillment. Responsible to attract customers to new and existing programs as well as develop and implement new business processes that support customer satisfaction/experience. Fulfill customer requests for unmetered services and Outdoor Lighting and engage government and private industry of utility programs and services. Position must interact and collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams to support Customer Services and Large Customer Support sales and Outdoor Lighting strategies and initiatives to achieve PSE&G growth objectives and Customer Satisfaction goals. Position requires effectively communicating and obtaining support across multiple cross-functional departments within Customer Care, Electric and Gas Distribution, Internal Services, Regulatory, Asset Management and Public Affairs.
The position interacts very closely and in partnership with the Regional Public Affairs/State Governmental Affairs team to ensure alignment and coordination among team members. Responsible for the leadership and management of a team of business customer advisors, who are responsible for relationships with PSE&G's managed municipal customers, in the proactive outreach and reactive resolution of company-customer issues.
Advocacy is a key aspect of this role, and of the Customer Advisors who report to them. Advocacy is being responsible to strengthen relationships with their teams assigned business customers in recognition of the role they play as influencers in public policy and regulatory arenas. This includes creating and executing communications and advocacy plans, as well as events. Advocacy encompasses the following: + Create awareness with and support from the customer on select PSE&G initiatives and other desired initiatives + Mitigate customer opposition of select PSE&G initiatives and other desired initiatives + Represent the customers viewpoint back to PSE&G + Build internal relationships and clearly communicate with internal stakeholders to influence select PSE&G initiatives such as new product and service development, and legislative and regulatory policy focused on bringing additional value to their customers + Understand processes and have strong relationships throughout the company in order to successfully advocate for customers on operational matters within PSE&G **Job Specific Qualifications** **Job Specific Qualifications:** + BS/BA plus 7 years' work experience or, in lieu of a degree, 10 years' related business experience. + Proficient with Microsoft applications and familiarity with Customer Information Systems, DWMS, and SalesForce. + Demonstrated knowledge of PSE&G tariffs and NJ administrative code. + Must understand the process interdependencies between Electric and Gas Distribution and Customer Care.
