Job Description
HIRING: MAINLINE OPERATOR
We are an excavation company that has been family-owned & operated for 20+ years. We specialize in site work (mass excavation, building pads, sub-grade prep) and underground utilities (water, sanitary, storm). We are located in Newark with majority of our work in Columbus, Ohio.
A "Mainline" Operator is someone who can excavate a trench on grade to install mainline waterline, sanitary, and storm, according to project plans. They must be able to excavate around existing utilities with precision. Preferably, they can operate multiple types of machinery.
Education And/or Experience
  • Knowledge of blueprints, pipe and trenching safety is required
  • Must possess ability to relate well to others, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Insurable, Valid Driver's License is preferred
  • 3+ years construction/site work experience is required
  • 1 hour Certification for Excavations (can obtain once hired)
  • 10 hour OSHA Certificate in construction (can obtain once hired)
  • 1+ years of digging to install mainline utilities is required
