Mail & Document Controller Jobs

Gregory Funding is hiring a Mail Processor to join our team in Tigard. The Mail Processor processes all incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes and weighs outgoing mail
• Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution
• Maintains electronic records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information
• Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine
• Controls shared mailboxes and distributes via e-mail
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company
• Basic understanding of postage rates and regulations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail
• Basic understanding of operating instructions and processes for machines

Education and Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of previous office experience, preferably in a related/similar field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver license & insurance as well as able to drive to the post office as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
