About this role:

You will be part of a highly experienced tax team responsible for the execution of global strategic priorities to ensure long-term financial objectives are met. This role has exposure to senior decision makers. It provides unlimited growth and learning potential in various aspects of taxation. What you'll do:

Highly visible and impactful role, teaming with the Manager and the Senior Associate of Global Tax Planning and M&A in all aspects of:

Corporate development:

  • Development of alternative acquisition and disposition structures
  • Maximizing tax benefits of deal related costs
  • Due diligence and integration of acquired businesses

Global tax planning and modeling with respect to:

  • Idea generation and implementation
  • Impacts of proposed or enacted legislation to inform management

Operational excellence:

  • Outstanding organizational skills within an electronic environment
  • Budgeting and billing
  • Coordinating with outside advisors

What you'll bring:

Required:

  • 0-2 years of tax experience, public accounting background strongly preferred
  • Introductory understanding of US inclusions and reporting relative to non-US operations including:
    • E&P
    • Tested income
    • GILTI, BEAT, FDII, and Subpart F
    • Foreign tax credits and associated allocation of deductions to various income baskets
  • Cross-functional teams – corporate development, treasury, legal, HR, controller’s group
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance
  • The global tax functions – compliance, transfer pricing, controversy, and state and local
  • Ability to communicate and work within:
    • The global tax functions – compliance, transfer pricing, controversy, and state and local
    • Cross-functional teams – corporate development, treasury, legal, HR, controller’s group
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting but will consider other relevant disciplines
  • Introductory understanding of US corporate taxation concepts
  • Tested income
  • Foreign tax credits and associated allocation of deductions to various income baskets
  • E&P
  • GILTI, BEAT, FDII, and Subpart F

Desired:

  • Strong project planning and management skills
  • CPA, master’s degree, and/or JD
  • Technical research skills (leveraging, BNA, Thomson, Big 4, etc. technical resources)
