Logistics Support Specialist Jobs

The Logistics Support Specialist will assist in managing all aspects of our logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and distribution. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience working with logistics software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing inbound and outbound transportation activities, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving issues with carriers
• Identify and report on areas for improvement in the logistics process
• Support the logistics team in other tasks and projects as assigned
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Manage relationships with logistics vendors and negotiate contracts as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and locations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers

Requirements

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as TMS and WMS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in logistics and transportation.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
