  • Optimize shipment intervals, load size, and lead time to achieve the lowest ratio of cost/weight
  • Organize meetings with suppliers to discuss issues affecting supply chain and remediation measures
  • Review and approve shipping invoices, reflect landed cost on orders and work closely with the Procurement team to record system inventory
  • On an ad hoc basis, issue POs, set up vendors in ERP system, and support order processing
  • Partner with our international logistics colleagues based in Japan, Korea, Mainland China and Hong Kong to arrange the transfer of goods to and from Blue Bottle US facilities
  • Oversee and arrange the movement of supplies, merchandise, and CPG products between third-party warehouses and Blue Bottle facilities on the US East and West Coast
  • Support documentation for international parcel shipments requested by internal teams
  • Be responsible for troubleshooting logistics issues and being a proactive problem solver
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to minimize waste

You Are

  • Attentive to detail and consistent in driving tasks to completion
  • An excellent organizer who continuously tweaks processes toward efficient ease of use

You Have

  • Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, Coupa, BI Dashboards preferred)
  • Experience using software such as Microsoft Office and Google docs
  • 3+ years of experience in Logistics or a related Operations field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Domestic and international import/export experience
  • Track record of building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners

A Few Benefits We Offer

  • This is an hourly non-exempt position with a minimum rate of $24/hr. This salary is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate
